Spend Overview release

Following the start of our Techstars Miami cohort in September, we released our alpha on October 10th. Our alpha focused specifically on the onboarding flow that customers would go through.

This was critical to learn from as early as possible in order to allow self-onboarding in the future.

As we onboarded our initial alpha customers, we found a number of bug fixes.

Our November release focused on correcting the bugs we found in onboarding and providing the main experience customers would see after completing onboarding: Spend Overview.

New features

• Spend Overview

  • By the Numbers section - users can now get insights into their most expensive apps in the last month or year-to-date

  • Spend graph - users can now see their subscription software spending month over month to track trends

  • App table - users can get a complete view of their subscriptions, the monthly and yearly cost, and the payment method used

Bug fixes

• Subscription spend table was not properly displaying data

• Grammar fixes in verification emails users received to log into Talisman

• Grammar fixes in the Subscription spend table

• Transactions with no name were listed on the recognized subscriptions table
